Terms & Conditions

Please review the following terms and conditions for Diaper Bank As-Needed Affiliates.

No Guarantees. This Request for Diapers is just that – a request. The Junior League of Tampa Diaper Bank (“JLT”) makes no guarantees or promises about whether JLT can or will fulfill your request. The acceptance to fulfill your request is within the absolute and sole discretion of JLT.

One Time Donation. If JLT fulfills your request, you agree and understand that the donation is a one-time donation to your agency by JLT. JLT may also choose to make partial donations. This donation creates no agency relationship or otherwise between your organization and JLT. While this is considered a one-time donation, JLT may consider additional requests from the same organization on an as-needed basis.

Proper Use. Donations received by JLT may be used ONLY for your agency and your agency's clients/program participants. Under no circumstances are you permitted to utilize diapers from JLT for any purposes other than providing such diapers to your agency's clients/program participants. You may not give our diapers to another organization. You are expected to inform your clients that diapers and supplies donated by JLT are for personal/family use only and any attempted resale or sale of JLT diapers or supplies is strictly prohibited and will prohibit your organization from future donations if discovered by JLT.

Pick Up of Donation. If JLT provides your agency with a diaper donation, unless otherwise directed by JLT, a designated agency representative or volunteer must pick up your donation from the JLT Diaper Bank storage facility on a day and time designated by JLT. Your agency is responsible for loading and transporting the diapers and related supplies.

Social Media. If you receive a donation from JLT, your agency is expected to recognize the JLT Diaper Bank on any social media channels owned or run by the organization and "tag" The Junior League of Tampa within 30 days of receipt of a donation. This is critical to our mission of raising awareness about diaper need and how we are combatting diaper need in our community. Further, your agency is expected to provide both: (1) one or more pictures, or video(s), showing agency representatives or clients, or the agency logo, with JLT diapers; and (2) a representative and/or client testimonial which explains the positive impact JLT's diapers has had on the agency program or individual client. Your agency may maintain the anonymity of agency clients by not showing faces nor revealing names or other identifying information. These items must be returned to the JLT Diaper Bank within 30 days of receipt of a diaper donation, and emailed to diaperbank@jltampa.org. Upon submission, the organization and individuals depicted in photos, videos, and/or testimonials agree that JLT may use such materials in any way JLT deems appropriate, including but not limited to posting such materials on social media, using such materials in grant applications, and/or using such materials in JLT marketing materials. These requests are made to ensure the JLT Diaper Bank can continue meeting our mission.

Record Keeping. Your agency agrees to provide a record of inventory dissemination at the request of JLT within 10 business days. You further agree to allow JLT to examine, review, recall and/or move any JLT donation that you have in your care within 48 hours of request by JLT if JLT deems you have not properly managed the diaper donation or otherwise have not complied with these Terms and Conditions.

Waiver and Release. I am voluntarily participating in the aforementioned activity and I am participating in the activity entirely at my own risk. I am aware of the risks associated with traveling to and from the donation site. I understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise from my own or others' negligence, conditions related to travel, or the condition of the activity location(s). Nonetheless, I assume all related risks, both known or unknown to me, of my participation in this donation, including travel to, from and during picking up this donation. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this "waiver and release" and fully understand that it is a release of liability. I expressly agree to release and discharge JLT and all of its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns, from any and all claims or causes of action and I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I otherwise have to bring a legal action against JLT for personal injury or property damage.
